Who we are
AFG is a Preston based charity providing a signposting service supporting military veterans and their families in need. Formed in 2012, we have already helped several hundred veterans to work through a variety of problems including PTSD, homelessness, job searches / employment and pensions and benefits advice.

Our aim is to assist any veteran in need of support regardless of when or where you served. Run entirely by volunteers, military veterans ourselves, we understand how difficult it can be to integrate into civilian life. Our purpose is to put you in touch with the right people and services to address your needs.
We also operate a weekly Work Club in collaboration with the Salvation Army and Remploy, ensuring we offer you a complete service.
We are members of both the Armed Forces Covenant and the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant.
